Lexus has reduced prices across most of the RZ electric vehicle (EV) range, bringing more models below the Expensive Car Supplement (ECS) threshold.
All RZ 350e models are now priced below £50,000, saving drivers £425 per year in Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) costs.
Prices have been reduced by up to 14%, allowing the RZ to start from £48,365 for the RZ 350e Premium with 18-inch wheels.
Lexus has also reduced prices across the RZ 500e range, by up to 6%, although the model is priced above the ECS threshold, at £56,295.
Prices of the RZ 550e are unchanged, starting at £67,795 for the F Sport and rising to £71,095 for the F Sport Takumi bi-tone.
Lexus said the changes should reduce monthly personal contract purchase (PCP) payments, as well as potential benefit-in-kind (BiK) costs for company car drivers.
