Fleet technology specialist Lightfoot has appointed David Savage (pictured) as chief revenue officer.

Chief revenue officer is a new role for the firm, with Savage’s appointment coming as Lightfoot prepares for a multi-market expansion.

Savage has 20 years of leadership in the automotive, mobility, and technology sectors, with a track record of scaling B2B and B2B2C sales.

In his previous role at mobility provider FREENOW, Savage expanded operations significantly, delivering double-digit growth.

Savage said: “I am delighted to be joining Lightfoot at such a pivotal time – our plans for growth across the continent are ambitious and, with our proven technology and demonstrable results, I know we can make significant progress on reducing risk on the roads and supporting decarbonisation efforts for European fleets.

“Our plans extend even further afield too, and I am looking forward to leading the global expansion, reinforcing the key safety, emission reduction and cost saving features that have made Lightfoot such a unique and highly successful company in the UK.”

Other recent leadership changes at Lightfoot include the appointment of Paul Hollick as CEO, and Rupert Lyon-Taylor becoming chief customer officer.

Hollick said: “Bringing on board such a knowledgeable, experienced and skilled professional as David is a huge boost to the Lightfoot team as we ramp up our international expansion, while also continuing to partner with more fleets in UK – to add to the hundreds who already use our technology.
