Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has added a new vehicle locator tool to its website to make it easier for potential online customers to identify the right vehicle for their needs.
According to Volkswagen more than 80 per cent of all van purchases start online – buyers typically carry out their research on the web two months before making their purchase.
The vehicle locator provides access to the latest Volkswagen Van Centre stock nationwide, searching vehicles in stock by location, model, powertrain preference, colour, trim levels and other desired features. Vehicles can be compared based on a configuration entered by the user – a percentage score indicates how close a match vehicles in stock are to the original configuration.
The tool can point the user to their nearest Van Centre, to place an order for a vehicle that matches their exact vehicle specification, or to enquire further about a vehicle closely matching the specification. Volkswagen hopes that by streamlining the process it will offer a more user-friendly and customer-centric approach to vehicle shopping.
