Lotus has revamped its two electric vehicles, the Eletre ‘hyper-SUV’ and Emeya ‘hyper-GT’ with new trim levels, in the process cutting £5760 from the starting price for the two cars.

Both are now available as ‘600’ or ‘900’ variants, directly referencing the two power output options offered in the two cars. They also offer four trim levels, an entry version and then GT, GT SE and Sport – all historic designations in the Lotus marque and recently revived on the Emira sports car.

Six trim levels are now on offer for the Eletre and Emeya, starting from the baseline 600, referencing the 611hp available in the all-wheel-drive dual-motor powertrain and costing from £84,990.

The range continues with 600 GT, its specification including Highway assist, a parking pack, 22-inch alloy wheels and six-piston brakes. The 600 GT SE gains an intelligent glass roof, upgraded 23-speaker audio, configurable ambient lighting and illuminated side sills while the Sports SE adds a dynamic handling pack, active rear spoiler, massaging and ventilated front seats and soft-close doors.

The 900 Sport employs an uprated 918hp powertrain with a two-speed transmission and also gets the dynamic handling pack and active rear spoiler, plus a quartz interior theme with bespoke fabric on the seats.

Range-topper is the Eletre 900 Sport Carbon which includes carbon detailing on outside and in plus a bonnet in a lightweight composite and the massaging and ventilated front seats and soft-close doors

The Emeya specification walk is broadly similar to that of the Eletre. The wheels of the GT model are of 21-inch diameter, the GT SE gains a hands-free tailgate but not the upgraded audio system, and both the 600 Sport SE and 900 Sport Carbon also get an active air dam at the front end.

Lotus is now taking orders for the revamped models with deliveries beginning in summer 2025.
