MAN Truck & Bus UK is placing its enhanced TGE van line-up centre stage at the 2025 Road Transport Expo in Stoneleigh, highlighting the brand’s ongoing investment in light commercial vehicle innovation.
Described as “the truck among vans,” the TGE has received a comprehensive package of updates, including 11 new assistance systems, a state-of-the-art digital cockpit with a 12.9-inch touchscreen, MAN SmartLink integration, and enhanced cybersecurity. The upgrades span safety, comfort and functionality, offering more support for operators working in varied and demanding environments.
Among the models on display is the MAN TGE 3.180 front-wheel-drive panel van in Pale Copper Metallic, which features a high roof and offers 11.3 cubic metres of load space. Powered by a 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel engine producing 177 PS and 410 Nm of torque, it comes equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and wide access doors for easier loading.
Also featured is the all-wheel-drive MAN TGE 3.200 4×4 panel van in Cherry Red, designed to tackle off-road or poor-weather conditions with an intelligent electronic drivetrain that responds to changing traction in just 84 milliseconds. It too includes the new driver assistance features as standard.
Completing the line-up is the factory-built TGE 3.140 low-frame Luton van, designed for operators who need easy access to walk-in box bodies. It sits 190 mm lower than the standard chassis and is fitted with a Trucksmith-built Luton LoLoader body, offering a load height of just 550 mm.
Stefan Thyssen, managing director at MAN Truck & Bus UK, said: “As a full range commercial vehicle supplier, with vehicles from 3.5 to 250 tonnes, we will demonstrate vehicles from across our model range, from the TGE Van, through to our much acclaimed TGX Flagship.”
All TGE vans now include digital instrument clusters, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, fatigue detection, intelligent speed assist, cruise control and MAN Parking Assist, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to safety and driver wellbeing.
