MAN Truck & Bus UK will appear at the inaugural Road Transport Expo Scotland, taking place at the SEC Glasgow on 19–20 November, where it will showcase a broad range of vehicles and highlight the latest developments in its electric and diesel line-up.
The manufacturer will be located on stand D20 in Hall 3, displaying models from the 3.5 tonne TGE through to the flagship TGX tractor, supported by its portfolio of business-focused aftersales products.
At the centre of the stand will be the fully electric MAN eTGX 20.449 4×2 tractor. The model offers a 42,000 kg gross combination weight and is powered by a permanently excited synchronous motor delivering 330 kW (449 PS) and 1,150 Nm of torque.
The eTGX features four 80 kWh batteries, a charging capacity of up to 375 kW DC and optional CCS charging points on both sides.
It is fitted with MAN’s GX high-roof sleeper cab and a full range of comfort and driver assistance technologies, including a multifunction leather steering wheel, Climatronic air conditioning, a retractable under-bunk fridge, and MAN’s OptiView mirror-replacement system. This vehicle is exhibited with the permission of the Malcolm Group.
The stand will also feature a MAN TGX 26.520 6×2 midlift tractor, also presented by the Malcolm Group. Powered by a 12.4 litre MAN D26 engine producing 520 PS (382 kW) and 3,265 Nm of torque, it is equipped with MAN’s GX sleeper cab and a 12-speed TipMatic automated transmission.
Driver comfort features on this model include MAN’s navigation media system with a 12.3 inch display, a retractable fridge, MAN Easy Control and a 22 inch flatscreen TV.
The vehicle also incorporates a wide range of safety technologies, including adaptive cruise control, MAN EfficientCruise and Lane Change Support with Turn Assist.
MAN will have its latest TGE panel van on display. Known as the “truck among vans”, the TGE has recently undergone significant updates, including the addition of 11 new assistance systems, a new MAN Media Van touch display, SmartLink connectivity and improved active safety technologies.
The showcased Indium Grey Metallic TGE 3.160 is powered by a 2.0 litre bi-turbo diesel engine delivering 163 PS (120 kW) and 410 Nm of torque.
It features a high roof, 3,640 mm wheelbase, 11.3 cubic metres of load space and a range of comfort and safety systems such as fatigue detection, emergency brake assist, cruise control and MAN’s parking assist.
MAN’s team, including eMobility consultants, will be available throughout the event to discuss vehicle options and tailored fleet solutions covering internal combustion engines and MAN’s expanding electric range.
The manufacturer said its presence reflects its commitment to supporting customers’ decarbonisation strategies. MAN has continued to build on its electric product engineering, having premiered the all-electric eTGX at RTX Stoneleigh in 2024 and, in 2025, showcasing its eTGS rigid models capable of ranges of up to 750 kilometres without intermediate charging.
All MAN vehicles are backed by the company’s nationwide commercial vehicle dealer network, many of which offer extended hours and tailored maintenance packages. MAN’s Mobile24 roadside assistance service provides 24-hour support across Europe throughout the year.
