Mazda has revealed the CX-6e electric vehicle (EV) at the Brussels Motor Show, offering up to 300 miles of range and 258PS.

The CX-6e will sit alongside the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) or diesel CX-60 SUV when it goes on sale in late 2026.

It can charge its 78kWh battery from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes and supports 11kW AC home charging.

Mazda has developed an app for the CX-6e, which allows for Bluetooth key sharing and charging management.

The interior is available in three colour schemes: Warm Beige, Black Maztex vegan leather or two-tone Amethyst and White Maztex vegan leather. It features a 26-inch touchscreen, a head up display and gesture control.

Martijn ten Brink, president and CEO at Mazda Motor Europe, said: “The all-new Mazda CX-6e brings our human-centric approach into the electric era, combining great design, driving enjoyment, and advanced technology for European customers.

“The all-new CX-6e offers the efficiency and performance our customers expect, while supporting Mazda’s broader ambition to reduce CO₂ and expand our electric portfolio.

“Together with the Mazda6e, it accelerates our electrification strategy and strengthens our Multi-Solution approach.”

The CX-6e is rear wheel drive and can accelerate to 62mph in 7.9 seconds.
