It still looks like an MX-5. But it’s possibly more suitable for Britain’s changeable weather.

This is the new Roadster Coupe – with a roof that raises and lowers within 12 seconds. It doesn’t rob boot space, either.

The new Roadster Coupe will also provide better security. The price premium is £1200 over the standard MX-5.

There is a six model range. There is the choice of 1.8 or 2.0-litre engines with a five-speed gearbox. Or a 2.0-litre with a six-speed gearbox.
