Business Car Manager Verdict:
Though some will say there wasn’t a whole lot wrong with the former C-Class, this new shape edition is step up in the premium compact saloon sector and the C220, which we tested earlier in the year, is likely to be the best seller.
The C250 is the same only different. Faster but more expensive, it’s also much closer to a true, BMW-style sporting saloon with this stronger 204 ps engine, sports suspension and the AMG trimmings.

On purely costs grounds, it’s perhaps a stretch to justify it over the C220 as a company car but if budget permits we say go for it. It’s a more spirited drive and the AMG spec spices up the visuals and dynamics nicely without being too over the top. It’s a C220 with a touch more spice.
Across the growing C-Class family, note that you can also get the C250 in lower cost SE and Sport model lines. But for keen drivers, AMG will surely be the one.
