Mercedes-Benz has launched Fleet Pilot, a fleet management platform that replaces Connect Business, offering a free trial to new customers.
The platform does not require vehicle retrofits to use and it is compatible with non-Mercedes-Benz models.
It utilises in-built vehicle communication modules to provide telematics data to the fleet manager.
Fleet Pilot allows vehicle tracking, early maintenance alerts, geofencing, as well as fuel or electricity consumption monitoring.
Mercedes-Benz said that Fleet Pilot provides ‘maximum transparency’ to fleet managers, allowing them to optimise processes and reduce costs.
Connect Business users have been migrated free of charge, while new customers get a free trial until the end of the month after registration.
