Millbrook Healthcare has acquired 136 Mercedes-Benz vans, which will support the NHS by maintaining essential community equipment services.
The fleet of 102 Sprinter 315 CDI L3H2 Panel Vans, 22 Sprinter 315 CDI L2H2 Panel vans and 12 Citan 110 CDI L1 Panel Vans have been deployed across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Brighton, Lincoln, Oxford, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Southampton and Torbay.
Marshall Motor Group supplied the vans to Millbrook Healthcare, which specialises in delivering, installing and maintaining mobility equipment at homes.
All vans have been purpose-built to protect specialist equipment and enable safe loading and unloading.
They are also fitted with dash cams and in-cab driver technology to promote safer driving and improve compliance.
Gary Burnham, service centre manager at Millbrook Healthcare said, “Our teams rely on vehicles that are dependable, safe and equipped for the work we do and that is exactly what we get through our partnership with Marshall Truck and Van and Mercedes-Benz Vans.
“These new vans are already supporting our operations across the country and helping us reach service users quickly and deliver high quality equipment which enables them to live safely and independently in their own homes.
“Whenever we place an order, we know the vans will meet the highest standards of quality and reliability which is exactly what our teams need when they are out supporting the people who rely on us.”
Three years of full repair and maintenance will be provided through the Mercedes-Benz Vans ServiceCare Complete Plan, including wear and tear repairs and MOT testing.
The Mercedes-Benz Vans MobiloVan programme will also minimise downtime, with free 24/7 roadside assistance and minor mishap cover.
Kevin Downham, fleet sales manager at Marshall Motor Group LTD, said: “We’ve been proud to work with Millbrook Healthcare since 2012 so fulfilling their largest order yet – over 120 vans in just three months – has been a real pleasure.
