MINI has introduced a new, range-topping diesel engine for the Hatch.
The Mini Cooper SD has a 2.0-litre four-cylinder power unit with 170 PS and 360Nm of torque, which the company says is the highest torque output achieved by any MINI in the brand’s history.
The result is blistering acceleration – the new car gets from rest to 62 mph in just 7.3 seconds – combined with pretty respectable CO2 emissions and fuel economy.
