Morrisons turns to Burnt Tree Refrigerental to speed local store expansion

BURNT Tree Refrigerental vehicles are being used by Morrisons to stock its network of smaller M Local convenience stores.

The company is using a variety of refrigerated vehicles from Refrigerental, including car-derived vans, 3.5-tonne panel vans, 7.5-tonne and 18-tonne rigid box trucks, as Morrisons’ national convenience store network is expanding at a rate of  between two and six new stores every week.

Morrisons’ head of engineering John Ward told Business Vans: “As we open more and more stores each week, Burnt Tree has reacted well in keeping us supplied with the right specification of vehicles and this relationship between the two companies will continue to grow, in line with our expansion plans.”

Mark Howell Refrigerental said, “We have carefully chosen a range of vehicle types to give customers such as Morrisons the optimum choice of vehicles covering temperature controlled applications from chill to heavy chill and deep frozen.”
