KGM Motors UK has launched the Musso EV, marking the brand’s first fully electric pick-up in the UK.
The model combines electric performance with traditional pick-up capability, targeting both fleet operators and private buyers seeking an alternative to diesel-powered vehicles.
Powered by an 80.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery supplied by BYD, the Musso EV delivers a WLTP range of up to 240 miles and can charge from 20% to 80% in 31 minutes using a 300 kW rapid charger.
The vehicle also features Vehicle-to-Load functionality, allowing users to power tools and equipment directly from the battery.
Performance is supported by front and rear motors producing 207PS and 339Nm of torque, alongside a towing capacity of 2.3 tonnes and a payload of 690kg.
A full-time all-wheel drive system and self-levelling suspension are designed to support stability across varying conditions.
Kevin Griffin, managing director at KGM Motors UK, said: “The launch of Musso EV represents a major step forward for KGM in the UK, setting new standards for capability and innovation in the pickup market.
“Its combination of usable electric range, towing and payload capacity, and driver convenience features, it gives both fleet and private customers a genuinely compelling alternative to diesel.”
Inside, the Musso EV features a 12.3-inch digital cluster and infotainment display, alongside heated and ventilated seating and SUV-style cabin space.
Safety systems include adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist and blind spot detection, supported by an around-view monitoring system.
The Musso EV will be available for test drives from May 2026, with pricing starting from £42,495 including VAT, supported by the £2,500 plug-in van grant.
