New 3-series Convertible for the spring

A new BMW 3-series Convertible will be available from March 2007.

It will feature a hard-top folding roof. A first for BMW, which usually favours fabric roofs.

The vehicle also has a rear seat fold-through facility to increase luggage area.

A world first is the introduction of Sun-Reflective Technology seat cooling leather. The leather reflects infra-red rays. The seats remain cooler when exposed to the sun.

The first models will be 325i and 335i Convertibles. Further models will follow: a 330i; a 320i; and a diesel 330d.

BMW Convertible key points

  • BMW 325i Convertible: L33,030, 218bhp, 35.8mpg
  • BMW 335i Convertible: L37,895, 306bhp, 28.5mpg
