LEASEPLAN has appointed a new Managing Director in the UK.
Alfonso Martinez – currently LeasePlan Italy Managing Director – takes over in the UK from January 01, 2019.
Martinez is replacing Matt Dyer who now moves to LeasePlan USA as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Dyer has played a significant role in the UK, growing the fleet to its largest size of 185,000 and ensuring a clear focus on all customers. As well as four years leading LeasePlan UK, Dyer has been Chairman of the BVRLA, playing an active role in representing the needs and challenges facing the industry in the UK.
LeasePlan said that Martínez would be responsible for continuing to optimise the customer experience through LeasePlan’s Customer First ethos, supporting the leasing company’s sustainability ambitions and assisting in the transformation of LeasePlan into a fully digitally enabled business.

Alberto Viano has been appointed Managing Director of LeasePlan Italy, effective from January 01, 2019.
