The all-new Mazda6 will be priced from £19,595 when it goes on sale in January 2013 with  benefit in kind company car tax starting at £52 a month.

For company car drivers, the Mazda6 saloon with the lowest company car tax band will be the diesel model with a 15% rating.

The new Mazda6, unveiled this week at the Paris Motor Show, features Mazda’s new fuel-saving SKYACTIV technology, resulting in lighter weight and more efficient engines for better running costs and lower company car tax.

The Mazda6 range  includes two petrol engines and two diesels paired to six-speed automatic or manual transmissions. SKYACTIV-G petrol engines include the 2.0-litre 145ps and the 2.0-litre 165ps both producing 210Nm at 4,000rpm. SKYACTIV-D diesel engines include the 2.2-litre 150ps producing 380Nm at 2,000rpm and the 2.2-litre 175ps producing 420Nm at 2,000rpm.

The Mazda6 saloon will be available in six trims: SE, SE Nav, SE L, SE L Nav, Sport and Sport Nav.

All models include alloy wheels and fog lights, but business drivers will be drawn to the Nav models, not only for the inclusion of standard satellite navigation in the price, but front and rear parking sensors and dual zone climate control.

For those businesses where an estate car is on the company car policy, there’s a range of Tourer models to accompany the saloon. Prices range from £21,265 for the Mazda6 2.0 145ps Tourer SE-L and rise to £28,045 for the Mazda6 2.2 175ps Tourer Sport Nav Auto.
