The interior of the new Mercedes C-Class estate is a big step up from the old model – much more up-market – and it’s filled with S-Class derived ‘Intelligent Drive’ technology, even if much of it is optional.
The list of features is long but here’s a nice little cameo to give you an idea of what to expect: the climate control system is linked to the sat nav, and when you approach a tunnel it automatically switches to re-circulating the air inside the car so you don’t get any nasty fumes coming in. On the way out, it opens the vents again.
Soon you won’t need to get in the car at all – just send it off to do your business for you.
