The original Nissan Qashqai sold 2 million – so there’s a lot at stake with the new car

The new Qashqai is available with a whole suite of safety technologies collectively known as “Nissan Safety Shield”, including the Front Collision Avoidance automatic braking system, Driver Attention Support, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Moving Object Detection assistance for parking, and High Beam Assist.

All cars get LED running lights, while some get full LED headlamps as well.

There’s a lot at stake with this new car; the original model has notched up over two million sales and helped keep Nissan’s UK plant near Sunderland ticking over nicely.
