Patrick McGillycuddy: appointed Skoda head of fleet

SKODA has a new head of fleet: Patrick McGillycuddy

Patrick fills the Skoda head of fleet role vacated by Martin Burke.

Martin left Skoda at the beginning of the year to take up a more senior VW Group role.

Patrick McGillycuddy joins Skoda from Vauxhall where he was national corporate sales manager.

Patrick said that he wanted to continue Skoda’s SME local business programme across the Skoda retail network.

“Looking ahead, we have a number of exciting new product updates, including a new-look Superb before the end of the year,” commented Patrick.

“With such a strong offering for both the contract hire and leasing and SME markets, the future looks incredibly bright for Skoda.”

The appointment of Patrick McGillycuddy as Skoda head of fleet is not the only new appointment in the Skoda fleet department.

Recently Henry Williams joined from Audi as national fleet sales manager

Henry heads up a team of eight fleet sales managers, including Yulia Eaton, area fleet sales manager for the Midlands.

Yulia, a new Skoda fleet recruit from SEAT, replaces Paul Fitton, who is now fleet programmes manager.

Alasdair Stewart, Skoda brand director, said that the new Skoda fleet appointments would help continue to strengthening Skoda business car sales.
