New top trio heads up Fleetcor sales drive

| FLEETCOR UK has backed up a succession of new product and service launches with senior appointments to head up an expanded Fleetcor sales team.
The independent global business solutions specialist, which operates leading brands Allstar, Keyfuels and The Fuel Card Company in the UK, has brought in a top trio to drive growth and enhance customer service.
Leading the sales operation is Tony Murtagh who previously worked at Lloyds Bank & Lex Autolease for over 17 years, where he held a number of director and sales leadership roles. It was here that Tony was instrumental in the turnaround of the broker business from 2009 to 2013 as well as growing the Lex SME Direct business by 64% year on year in 2014. Stuart Miles, who worked with Tony at Lex and has also held senior positions at Leaseplan, has been appointed as Fleetcor’s new sales director for its partner and corporate business. Finally, after heading up the sales operation at CMS Supatrak for the past three years, Alex Harper has also returned to Fleetcor UK as head of corporate sales, having previously spent 20 years as sales and marketing director at Keyfuels. In addition to these three senior appointments, the company has also invested in expanding its sales force by almost 50 per cent this year. The business now has a team of over 90 sales people, improving its service offering across its brands and with Fleetcor partner and corporate customers. Peter Bridgen, managing director at Fleetcor UK, commented: “We have gone through a major transition and investment programme over the last few years to fully integrate the Allstar, Keyfuels and The Fuel Card Company brands into Fleetcor UK. “The result of this investment has seen some really exciting new product and service developments recently, like the launch of the Allstar One Card, Keyfuels’ ControlMax solution, plus new services like SMR and the relationships we have developed with market leading service providers like The AA, National Windscreens and the M6toll for instance. |
