New Trade Vans range launched by Lombard

LEASING company Lombard Vehicle Management is launching a new range of Trade Vans. These are ready-converted turn-key vans designed for professional tradesmen. The vans are currently available in three different specifications: There’s a Trade Van designed for plumbers; a Trade Van designed for electricians; and a Trade Van designed for carpenters. The Trade Vans have been built in partnership with Sortimo International, a supplier of van racking. Each Trade Van is equipped with Sortimo’s Sobogrip+ safety floor and racking foundation; a Sowaflex wall and upper door protection kit; bespoke racking specific to the appropriate trade; and interior lighting. “The vans are ideal for current market conditions. They provide an extremely cost-effective solution,” commented Matt Dale, general sales manager of Lombard’s Van Sales Unit. “The Trade Vans are fully fitted-out and delivered ready to start work immediately. This allows business owners and users to get on with their job rather than worrying about specifications and suppliers.” Dale added that Trade Vans would also encourage smaller firms to lease. The Trade Vans are only available on contract hire. “It will encourage small businesses to adopt a leasing strategy. This will help cashflow in the very tough market conditions we now face,” Dale said.
