BOTH Volvo and Honda have launched sporty new models targeting younger business buyers.
The Volvo C30 is a two-door coupe. The Honda Type S is a sportier three-door version of the Civic.
But according to the secondhand value experts, Glass’s Guide, the C30 will lose business buyers more money than the Type S.

“The C30 is expected to retain 40% of its original list price having covered 60,000 miles over three years. The Type S is expected to be worth 41%,” commented Jason King, forecasting editor, EurotaxGlass’s.
King expected the new C30 to inject excitement into the brand. He also expects there won’t be enough cars to meet demand from buyers.
The Type S would appeal to business buyers because of its low pricing structure, said King, while its low taxation liability would be appealing.
