CAR rental supply company, Nexus Vehicle Rental, is stepping up its presence in the rental market with the appointment of Paul Russell to a new Head of Strategic Sales role.
Paul is joining Nexus from daily rental firm Avis Rent a Car, where he has been employed for the last 16 years.
Nexus says that Paul’s appointment is to help grow the Nexus business, particularly in the supply of business and public sector daily rental vehicles and to increase the number of outsourced vehicle rental management agreements the company handles.
John Ellis, Nexus Managing Director, commented: “Paul comes to Nexus with a tremendous track record in the industry. His appointment underlines our ambition to continue to develop our proposition to meet the changing needs of new and existing customers.”
In other business car news, Nexus has just joined the ranks of the Sunday Times Profit Track 100, coming in at number number 42. Nexus uses its acclaimed IRIS (Intelligent Information Rental System) software to manage its rental and supply chain.
