When you have such a strong warranty offering – Hyundai’s five-year triple care warranty with unlimited mileage – you need the right aftersales director.
So that’s what Hyundai has done with the appointment of Nick Tunnell, who has moved from his position as aftersales commercial manager to the director’s hot seat today (01 October).
The brief is wide, too. Nick will be responsible for Hyundai’s Aftersales, Commercial, Technical, Customer Services, Warranty and the Aftersales Field Team.
“Hyundai has grown rapidly into a genuine mainstream automotive manufacturer and I am looking forward to developing and enhancing the quality of Hyundai’s aftersales operations, particularly around the customer experience,” commented Nick on his appointment.
Tony Whitehorn, Hyundai’s president and ceo, said that Nick’s appointment would be critical in maintaining the company’s “complete customer offering”.
Nick moves up to the Hyundai board just as Hyundai has launched its all-new Santa Fe SUV model and its exciting Veloster coupe with a business car leasing deal of just £194 a month for the 1.6 GDi model over a 48 month lease.
Nick replaces Graham Lightfoot who has taken up a new role at Porsche Cars GB.
