Nissan’s all-new panel van plays value card

Prices for Nissan NV200 start at just over £12,000

THE new Nissan NV200 will cost from £12,090 ex VAT. The panel van is on sale now. There will be two variants: the NV200 E costing £12,090; and the NV200 SE costing £12,590. Both models are powered by a 1.5dCi engine sourced from partner Renault. The engine returns a combined fuel economy of 54mpg with best-in-class CO2 emissions of 137g/km. The NV200 also has class leading cargo capacity of 4.16cu m. The entry-level E NV200 panel van comes equipped with everything from a CD audio system with MP3 aux jack to keyless entry. The SE grade adds electric front windows and a full steel bulkhead. The SE grade can be upgraded with:

• air conditioning (£575);
• glazed rear doors (£150); and
• a safety pack which includes air con (£1,000).

“The NV200 is a brilliant addition to the Nissan range and with prices starting so low we have high hopes for it in the UK. Factor in the exceptional CO2 emissions and LCV customers will be hard pushed to make their money go further,” commented Francis Bleasdale, Nissan’s LCV sales and marketing director. A Combi version complete with the option of seven seats will join the range later with prices announced closer to its launch in February.
