Northgate Vehicle Hire has made a series of electric vehicle (EV) offers, intended to make the transition to electric vans easier and cheaper for businesses.
Discounted home and workplace charging solutions as well as EV driver training will be offered to customers of Northgate’s 12months+ rental solutions.
Customers of eligible electric vans are offered up to £1,300 off the cost of purchasing and installing a home or workplace charger, reducing dependency on the public charging network.
Northgate said that workplace EV chargers send a strong message about the business’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies.
One-to-one EV Driver Training is also offered free of charge, with drivers trained on charging processes and efficient driving techniques, such as utilising regenerative braking and accelerating smoothly.
The training course takes half a day and is intended to boost driver confidence, extend EV battery life and allow drivers to get the most range out of electric vans.
