US-based OEConnection has entered an agreement to acquire epyx, as well as its sister companies r2c Online and Business Gateway from Corpay.

The company aims to increase its presence in Europe’s fleet and aftersales technology market through the acquisition.

epyx, r2c Online and Business Gateway provide technology solutions for servicing, maintenance and repair (SMR), as well as fleet, workshop and compliance management.

OEConnection’s majority investor, Francisco Partners, will continue to support the combined business.

Existing contacts, agreements and services will remain in place following the completion of the transaction, and OEConnection said customers can expect continuity.

The transaction is expected to close later in the year, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Patrick Brown, CEO at OEConnection, said: “epyx has built deep, long-standing relationships across the fleet and garage network ecosystem in the UK and Europe, and their platforms are purpose-built for the fleet market they serve.

“Bringing our organizations together reflects a shared commitment to the fleet and aftersales industry, and to the technology that keeps vehicles on the road.
