Ogilvie Fleet improves downtime management following feedback
The MiFleet platform now gives customers live downtime monitoring.
Ogilvie Fleet has made a series of improvements to its downtime management processes, following feedback from its customers.
The MiFleet platform now gives customers live downtime monitoring, giving fleets visibility of vehicle off-road (VOR) status, total days off-road, repair progress and associated hire costs.
Ogilvie Fleet said that average says off-road have fallen by 17% since the changes were implemented, across its managed fleet of 18,000.
Vehicle uptime has reached a record of 99.43%.
As before, Ogilvie Fleet checks in with garages every day to ensure repairs stay on track and vehicles are not delayed by other workshop priorities.
The company said that this has helped accelerate repairs and has improved customer outcomes.
Mark Sinclair, downtime management specialist at Ogilvie Fleet, said: “We’ve listened closely to customer feedback and reshaped our approach to downtime management.
“By proactively checking in on every vehicle off the road and using MiFleet to provide live updates, we’re keeping drivers moving and giving fleet managers the transparency they need.
