Ohme Park Charge

Ohme has launched Park & Charge, a shared electric vehicle (EV) charging solution intended for property developers, offices and landlords.

The Building Management Platform allows charging activity to be monitored, pricing to be altered and users to be added or removed.

Drivers can use the Ohme app to start and stop charging, pay for charging and view session details.

Ohme said that the solution could allow drivers to access lower-priced charging, when compared with standard public charging.

The solution includes dynamic charging technology, enabling it to adjust charging to take advantage of lower energy prices.

Park & Charge is available on the Ohme ePod S, a dedicated shared charger based on the residential ePod.

David Watson, CEO at Ohme, said: “The Park & Charge function with the new ePod S is a valuable addition to the Ohme range for those after a shared parking solution.

“This will not only make it easier for property developers to choose Ohme when deciding on their residential EV charging partner as well as for businesses with shared parking arrangements or landlords.”
