PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) makes its return to celebrated automotive trade show, Autopromotec, for the third year to showcase its new range of lubricant solutions, specially designed to meet the needs of a diverse and ever-changing market. Held at the Fiera Di Bologna in Italy from 25th – 28th May, it promises to deliver the most specialised international exhibition of automotive equipment and aftermarket products available to consumers and distributors across Europe.
Attendees will be able to hear first-hand about the PETRONAS Network, a family of PETRONAS automotive workshops that spans Europe and offers the high-quality products and services the brand is so well known for. Distributors can find out more about joining the network, which is open to all who share the PETRONAS commitment to excellence and who also have the technical and personable skills to be the face of PETRONAS across the continent.
This year, PLI will be showcasing the brand-new PETRONAS Syntium range, originally designed for the PETRONAS Mercedes AMG Formula One team, which now offers 37.8% more protection against the wear and tear of critical parts within an engine. The range’s new formula targets heat critical zones to prevent build-up of deposits, therefore not only reducing maintenance costs, but also extending the life of everyday vehicles. PETRONAS Syntium comes complete with CoolTech+™ technology that cuts vehicle emissions and fuel consumption by up to 3%, saving motorists money and minimising the environmental impact of driving.
Also on display is the revamped PETRONAS iona range, initially launched in 2019 and upgraded in November 2021 as a new generation of lubricant, formulated to help accelerate achieving a net-zero future by optimising the energy efficiency, safety, and performance of electric vehicles. It is PLI’s most advanced EV fluid solution.
Finally, the PETRONAS Tutela range, designed to not only meet the varied demands of complex, modern vehicles, but to offer complete mechanical protection for automatic transmissions, will also be making an appearance. With its sophisticated cooling hydraulic systems that guarantee superior functionality and safety for automatic vehicles, the fluid is able to seamlessly combat high temperatures and compensate for loss of energy.
