Orders are open now for the PEUGEOT flagship Dual Motor Launch Edition, the third powertrain option for its E-3008 and E-5008 models, with first deliveries expected from Q4 2025.
The Dual Motor version features an additional electric motor for the rear axle, combining a total power output of 325hp with the efficiency and safety of all-wheel drive.
After nearly doubling its electric vehicle sales in 2024, PEUGEOT aims to continue to expand its electric line-up, comprising 12 all-electric models, to meet the varied needs of UK motorists.
PEUGEOT is expanding its mid-sized SUV line-up with the new Dual Motor Electric 73kWh 325 powertrain.
This addition joins the Electric 210 and the Long Range Electric 230, which has a high level of range.
The PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motors combine the standard 213hp front-wheel drive electric motor with an additional 112hp electric motor for the rear wheels.
Together, they offer all-wheel drive functionality with a total power output of 325hp and a maximum torque of 509Nm.
With the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motor and the 325hp allows for dynamic acceleration and throttle responsiveness.
The all-wheel drive of the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motor is designed to ensure maximum efficiency and safety in all conditions, with four driving modes available.
As with every all-electric PEUGEOT vehicle, the charging time from 20% to 80% on DC rapid chargers is approximately 30 minutes.
An 11kW three-phase onboard charger is fitted as standard to both models.
PEUGEOT has opened orders for the Dual Motor versions of the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 with an exclusive ‘Launch Edition’ trim, offering a high-end specification.
This includes all the standard equipment of the top GT trim, such as a Black Diamond roof and rear spoiler, Pixel LED matrix headlights, motorised tailgate and the PEUGEOT i-Connect® Advanced infotainment system with connected navigation and wireless smartphone mirroring and charging, heated front seats, and adaptive cruise control.
In addition to the GT trim equipment, the Dual Motor ‘Launch Edition’ versions feature 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a standard heat pump for enhanced efficiency in very cold weather.
The interior is also upgraded with black Alcantara® upholstery and an embossed PEUGEOT shield emblem in the front headrests.
A panoramic opening sunroof and eight-colour ambient lighting add to the premium feel, while the Clean Cabin system optimises interior air quality.
On the E-3008 Dual Motor ‘Launch Edition’, audiophiles can enjoy the premium Focal® 10-speaker Hi-Fi system, consisting of four tweeters, four speakers, a central speaker and a subwoofer.
Both ‘Launch Edition’ models come standard with the 360° Vision & Drive Assist Pack, featuring four HD cameras for improved visibility when manoeuvring, rear cross traffic alert, long-range blind spot monitoring and flank guard protection.
Highway Assist 2.0 enables semi-autonomous driving thanks to Lane Positioning Assist, Semi-Automatic Lane Change and Recommended Speed Adaptation.
