Polestar to launch four new models over three years
Upcoming models include a new generation of the Polestar 2, scheduled for launch in early 2027, joined by the compact SUV Polestar 7 in 2028.
Polestar has announced that it will launch four new models over the next three years, while it expects to see low double-digit volume growth in 2026.
Upcoming models include a new generation of the Polestar 2, scheduled for launch in early 2027, joined by the compact SUV Polestar 7 in 2028.
It will launch an additional variant of the 4, its current best-seller, later in 2026, bringing more versatility to grow the car’s customer base.
Deliveries of the 5 grand tourer, revealed last year, will begin in the summer.
Polestar said it expects the sales share of the Polestar 4 to increase, while the brand as a whole will focus more on the retail market.
Michael Lohscheller, CEO at Polestar, said: “Following our best sales year ever, we are now launching the largest model offensive in our history, with four premium electric vehicles (EVs) coming to market within three years.
“We are targeting the heart of the EV market, where customer demand and profit pools are high.
“Polestar 5 is our brand halo car, bringing a new level of performance and luxury to the grand-tourer segment.
