Range Rover Evoque wins Best Company Car for SME Business Owners
Range Rover Evoque judged Best Company Car for SME Business Owners in the Business Car Manager SME Company Car of the Year Awards 2012
THE Range Rover Evoque has won the ‘Best Company Car for SME Business Owners’ category in the Business Car Manager SME Company Car of the Year Awards 2012, run in association with MAGMA Automotive Services.
Few cars offer small business owners such a prestige badge at such an affordable price as the Range Rover Evoque – offering the aristocratic motoring of the Range Rover but in a more compact bodystyle. And without all of the lofty running costs
In this category, judges were looking for cars that conferred status but might be equally acquired through the company or run privately, so CO2 emissions aren’t the be-all but practicality still counts.

It seems small businesses can’t get enough of them – the waiting time is up to four months – but such is the demand for the scaled down Range Rover’s cachet that no one seems to mind.
“The year since its launch has not diminished the desirability of the Evoque one jot, and Land Rover still can’t churn out enough of them. Nor are CO2 emissions, tax band and high-ish whole life costs likely to prove deterrents. Ford’s holdall S-MAX makes more practical sense as a contender but the Evoque still wins hands down in the desirability stakes,” commented the Business Car Manager judges.
In actual fact, the Range Rover Evoque isn’t that bad on CO2 emissions – it’s sub 150g/km – and yet there’s four-wheel drive security. Company car tax starts at under £150 a month.
And any worries about ongoing running issues are covered by the Range Rover’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty.
