RAW Charging and Landsec have opened an ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in Chesterfield, at Ravenside Retail Park.

16 EV charging bays have been installed, with speeds of up to 150kW.

The Ravenside Retail Park charging hub is the first RAW Charging site to open in the Landsec portfolio.

1,000 EV charging bays are set to open across Landsec sites by 2027.

Other locations will include Brighton Marina, Gunwharf Quays and White Rose Shopping Centre.

RAW Charging said that the EV charging hub at Ravenside is ideally located within walking distance of Chesterfield Town Centre, while the park itself has a range of retailers including B&M Bargains, Currys and Pets at Home.

Neil Broadbank, chief commercial officer at RAW Charging, said: “We are thrilled to launch our first EV charging hub with Landsec at Ravenside Retail Park.

“Our roll-out of EV chargers with Landsec is nationally significant, adding 1,000 new bays across the country before 2027.

“We are bringing reliable, rapid, and accessible charging to shoppers and look forward to welcoming drivers to Ravenside and to many more Landsec sites in the months ahead.”
