Rygor Group has confirmed that both Rygor Auto and Rygor Service Solutions have been awarded accreditation under the Maintenance Provision Rating Scheme (MPRS), with every assessed site achieving Platinum status, the highest level available under the scheme.

The MPRS accreditation is overseen by the Freight Transport Association and is widely recognised across the commercial vehicle sector. It assesses maintenance providers against a broad set of criteria, including compliance, quality control, workshop standards, technician training and customer service.

Rygor said the accreditation reflects continued investment in people, processes and facilities, giving fleet operators added confidence in the safety, reliability and performance of vehicles maintained across its network.

Sean Joyce, aftersales director at Rygor, said: “This accreditation is a fantastic achievement for our team and a testament to the consistent professionalism, skill, and care our team delivers every day. The MPRS standard validates what our customers already know, that Rygor delivers exceptional service quality and vehicle maintenance they can truly rely on.

“Each individual site operating under Rygor Auto and Rygor Service Solutions was assessed independently as part of the MPRS accreditation process.

“Through rigorous evaluations, every location demonstrated outstanding performance across all key criteria, resulting in Platinum status being awarded to each site.

“This is the highest level of recognition available under the scheme and a clear reflection of the exceptional standards upheld across the Rygor Group,” Joyce added.

The group said the accreditation also supports professional development across its workforce, with ongoing audits and continuous improvement forming part of the MPRS framework.

Paul Wallace, head of vehicle maintenance units at Rygor Service Solutions, said: “For our customers, which includes supermarket giant Tesco, it is imperative that we ensure the uptime of their vehicles and the MPRS accreditation provides even greater confidence in Rygor’s maintenance operations, that their vehicles are maintained by an accredited provider committed to best practice.

“We’ve always been passionate about doing the right thing by our customers and our people. This recognition from the MPRS reinforces that ethos. It’s not just about meeting standards, but about exceeding them by being Rewarding, Reliable and Respectful,” Wallace added.

The accreditation follows the announcement earlier this year that Rygor Group had been named a UK Best Workplace in the Manufacturing, Production and Transportation sector, further strengthening its position as a leading commercial vehicle sales, aftersales and fleet support partner.
