Skoda Octovia vRS
Quick, practical, and cost effective – 3 good reasons for the London Air Ambulance to turn to the ŠKODA Octavia vRS for its rapid response vehicles

PERFORMANCE, low emissions and the 1740 litres of practical interior space are the key reasons why the London Air Ambulance service has chosen the ŠKODA Octavia vRS estate for its fleet of rapid response cars.

So if it’s good enough for their rapid response fleet, does it work for your SME small fleet?

Well, the Octavia RS is powered by ŠKODA’s 217bhp, 2.0-litre TSI petrol, which despite the performance is capable of 45.6mpg fuel economy and emits just 142g/km of CO2. This results in a company car tax band of 21%, so while the performance is definitely hot, the running costs should be easily kept under control.

The fleet of Octavias supplied by Vokswagen Group Leasing are finished in the same red livery as the London Air Ambulance’s iconic helicopter and are also fitted with a roof light bar, plus the high viability Battenberg strips that are required on emergency vehicles.

“We are delighted that London’s Air Ambulance has once again chosen models from the Volkswagen Group to extend its fleet.

“Our competitive proposition offers the charity a joined up service – finance, vehicles, delivery and aftersales care that is not only value for money, but is combined with a committed high level of service that is vital for important medical response teams,” said Marco Capozzoli, Manager – Public Sector Sales at Volkswagen Group Leasing.
