Startin Group Fleet has expanded its service, maintenance and repair (SMR) capabilities by adding mobile servicing units.
The mobile servicing units were initially deployed to provide on-site servicing for fleets with Renault and Dacia vehicles.
It also enhanced technician training, including providing additional training on electric vehicles (EVs), to further reduce downtime for fleets.
Startin Group Fleet said it aims to retain greater control over SMR and improve customer response times by introducing mobile servicing.
The mobile servicing units are equipped to be able to complete Renault-specific battery checks and diagnostics, which typically require a visit to a garage.
Lee O’Connell, head of fleet at Startin Group, said: “Fleet customers want simplicity and uptime. By investing in mobile servicing and specialist training, we can bring maintenance directly to the customer, minimise disruption and keep vehicles operating where they should be, on the road.
“This is about giving fleets more flexibility in how their vehicles are maintained, while reducing the downtime that comes with taking vehicles off-site.”
