Startin Group has opened a Fleet Hub in Redditch, aiming to reduce lead times for fleet vehicle supply and bring more PDI capabilities in-house.
The Fleet Hub has a capacity of 350 vehicles and is a former car auction site, which has been refitted to improve quality control.
It houses offices, a warehouse and a logistics operation.
In its first year, the Fleet Hub will process more than 2,000 units, while Startin Group aims to add more PDI capability throughout 2026, bringing more work in-house.
Startin Group said the Fleet Hub positions it to supply local corporate fleets, public sector customers, national leasing firms as well as rental and broker channels.
To support the operation, Startin Group is recruiting a fleet business development manager, a logistics manager and a fleet support administrator.
The Fleet Hub will create six new jobs in total.
Lee O’Connell, head of group fleet at Startin Group, said: “This is a milestone for the business because it gives us greater control over our logistics, preparation standards and turnaround times.
“The Fleet Hub gives us the capacity and discipline to match rising demand with consistent service.
“We are building an experienced and talented team that aims to set new standards in the industry.”
Startin Group’s fleet brand portfolio includes Dacia, Honda, Kia, Peugeot, Renault, Suzuki and Vauxhall.
