SureCam, the video telematics and fleet safety technology specialist, has launched a next-generation multi-view dashcam solution aimed at improving on-road safety and helping fleets meet increasingly stringent urban regulations.

The new SureCam Vantage system delivers up to six synchronised camera views around a vehicle, providing 360° visibility supported by AI-powered insights.

The solution is designed for commercial fleets operating in complex environments, where eliminating blind spots and evidencing incidents has become a regulatory priority.

Justin White, European managing director of SureCam, said: “A growing number of cities are implementing stricter Vision Zero and Direct Vision standards, requiring fleets to eliminate blind spots, improve situational awareness, and capture verifiable evidence of road incidents.

“SureCam Vantage represents the next generation of video telematics, which has been designed to help fleets meet these mandates while boosting driver safety and operational efficiency.”

Unlike traditional multi-camera set-ups, SureCam Vantage supports up to six configurable cameras through a single dashcam device, removing the need for a separate mobile digital video recorder.

Fleets can capture footage from the road, driver, side, rear and cargo areas, while an optional in-cab monitor gives drivers real-time visibility to support safer manoeuvring and compliance with city-level requirements.

The system is suitable for a wide range of vans, HGVs and specialist vehicles, particularly those operating in dense urban areas.

It can also integrate driver monitoring system and advanced driver assistance system capabilities, enabling the detection of distraction, fatigue, mobile phone use and other risky behaviours, as well as hazards such as tailgating and collision threats.

Automated in-cab alerts allow drivers to correct behaviour before incidents occur, while footage is uploaded automatically to SureCam’s cloud platform for rapid event review, coaching and analytics.

The solution is also compatible with Geotab, enabling enhanced safety scoring and broader operational insight.

White added: “With SureCam Vantage, we are giving fleets a powerful yet accessible toolset that helps them stay compliant while dramatically improving day-to-day driver safety.

“It represents a leap forward in delivering safer streets and more resilient fleet operations.”
