System Edström is set to debut its new FleetLane service at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show, marking a significant development in fleet conversion strategy for UK operators.
FleetLane, a port-of-entry conversion solution, is designed to streamline racking and storage installations by carrying out all necessary fittings before vehicles reach the customer. By reducing delivery miles and vehicle handling, the service promises to provide faster, more sustainable, and safer conversions.
The announcement comes as part of a wider roadmap of innovation from the racking specialist, which has long been known for its durable and efficient van storage solutions. With efficiency and sustainability key concerns for commercial fleet operators, FleetLane aims to deliver a new standard in operational readiness.
David Sawford, commercial director at System Edström UK, said: “System Edström’s van racking innovation roadmap continues with the launch of FleetLane. The sustainability and efficiency that this additional operation brings will help unlock fleet users from the ‘traditional way’ of converting their vehicles. I am immensely proud of the team in bringing this to market, with special thanks to Michael Milne, our newly appointed national installations manager and the key industry partners he is working with.”
The CV Show, held at the NEC Birmingham, will see System Edström showcasing FleetLane alongside a range of new products and updates.
The company will be exhibiting on stand 5E71.
