Targa Telematics enters deal with Hyundai
The partnership facilitates driving analysis, EV data monitoring, stolen vehicle recovery and fault code monitoring.

Targa Telematics has signed a partnership with Hyundai Connected Mobility which will see it access vehicle telematics data, allowing fleets to manage vehicles without installing additional hardware.
The partnership facilitates driving analysis, electric vehicle (EV) data monitoring, stolen vehicle recovery and fault code monitoring.
Fleet managers can also see real-time vehicle location and view mileage, vehicle status, fuel level or battery charge information.
On EVs, remaining driving range, power consumption and charging status can be viewed remotely.
Telematics data from current and some older Hyundai models can be accessed via Targa Telematics.
Marcus Welz, CEO at Hyundai Connected Mobility, said: “At Hyundai Connected Mobility, we’re committed to helping our customers unlock greater value from connected vehicle data through trusted partnerships and open collaboration.
“By working with Targa Telematics, we’re making it easier for fleet operators to access native vehicle data and turn it into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, support the transition to electric mobility, and simplify the management of connected fleets across Europe.”
Alberto Falcione, vice president of sales at Targa Telematics, said: “The collaborations we are pursuing with automotive manufacturers aim to deliver new mobility services through the integration of data streams from vehicles equipped with native OEM systems.
