Targa Telematics named leading European fleet UBI provider by PTOLEMUS

Targa Telematics has been ranked first among European fleet usage-based insurance providers by PTOLEMUS Consulting Group, following the publication of the fifth edition of its UBI Global Study.

The study, regarded as a benchmark across the connected auto insurance market, assesses insurers, OEMs and technology providers on their ability to deliver effective UBI services.

It is based on extensive global research and examines trends, technologies and business models shaping digital insurance, with PTOLEMUS forecasting that 180 million vehicles worldwide will be insured under new digital models by 2035, generating more than €200bn in premiums.

Targa Telematics achieved the highest combined score for capability, innovation and operational maturity in the European fleet UBI category.

The ranking reflects the company’s work in developing digital solutions that allow insurers to design policies based on actual vehicle usage, supporting differentiation, customer acquisition and retention.
