TOTAL Motion is on the expansion trail with a move to Leicester’s business hotspot with bigger offices and more staff being recruited.

Sights are firmly set on attaining a £50 million turnover within three years.

Total Motion is to unveil their new premises at the Meridian Business Park in Leicester; a location which has fast become an aspiration for many businesses in the city.

The move comes as a result of Total Motion’s impressive growth and is indicative of their plans to continue driving forward the business, services and reputation.

Following investment of over £800,000 into the new site, the team behind privately owned Total Motion have secured the facilities which they believe will assist them in achieving their ambitious growth plans and enable them to further develop their renowned client care.

Managing director Simon Hill said: “We’re really pleased with the new premises and feel we now have a great hub which will allow us to continue to grow, while supporting our clients and team over the coming years.”

The new premises sees Total Motion quadruple their floor space to over 7,000 sq ft and providing parking for 40 vehicles, many of which will quickly be taken by the new team members already being recruited to support the continued business growth.

With an ambitious target turnover of £50m within the next three years, Simon expects an additional 60 employees will be required to support their clients to the same exacting standards which have served them so well to date; already looking for 15 new recruits to join the ambitious team.

One addition to the team is new national sales manager Andy Riley. Andy has 20 years of experience in the fleet industry, with his previous role being commercial sales manager at Northgate Fleet Management.

He said of his move to Total Motion: “They appealed as they have ambitious growth plans, excellent products and service proposition, and an ethos on providing first class customer service with tailored and flexible fleet management solutions.”

With 18 years’ fleet experience, working for a number of the top five UK leasing companies, Simon Leitch has taken on the role as national new business development manager.

He said that the way Total Motion works inspired him to join the company.

“I was more than impressed with Total Motion’s approach to maintenance management and vehicle funding, in fact it made absolute sense to disclose true net costs, working as an extension to a client rather than a supplier…

“Total Motion take time to understand a client’s needs, deliver what was promised and are truly flexible, how else can you support and work with a client otherwise?”

In addition, Total Motion have agreed an extra investment of £5m in software development to enhance their support systems, responsiveness and service levels even further, to be rolled out later this year.
