Hydraulic hose breakdown specialist UK Hose has taken delivery of 12 MAN TGE vans to support its expanding nationwide mobile service operation.
Based in Ipswich, the company has chosen the MAN TGE 3.180 LION XC as the vehicle for its engineers, who provide on-site hydraulic hose servicing and repairs to customers’ vehicles, plant and equipment across the UK.
Each van is powered by the latest 180bhp 2.0-litre BiTurbo EU6e diesel engine and features front-wheel drive paired with an optional eight-speed automatic transmission.
The vehicles were prepared and delivered by MAN Truck & Bus UK’s franchised partner, Norfolk Trucks, in Felixstowe.
The vans have been built to MAN’s XC specification, providing enhanced driver comfort and durability.
Key features include a 10.4-inch touchscreen with sat-nav, ergonomic multi-function steering wheel, climatic air conditioning, heated and electrically adjustable mirrors, and extensive in-cab storage.
Safety and driver assistance systems include emergency brake assist, active lane keeping, cruise control, hill start assist, crosswind assist, ABS, ESC and a rear-view camera for improved visibility and security.
