Dutch refrigeration specialist VebaBox has launched its plug-in, modular refrigeration units for vans in the UK.

VebaBox systems are modular and can transform any panel van into a temperature-controlled vehicle, with installation and removal taking a few hours.

It offers both active, powered and passive, insulated units, designed to serve industries such as food distribution, laboratory logistics, healthcare and last-mile delivery.

VebaBox said the systems offer precise temperature control, mixed-load capability and seamless integration with modern electric and internal combustion (ICE) vans.

The firm will offer leasing options and full aftersales support.

VebaBox’s first UK demonstration vehicle will arrive soon.

Barry Denston (pictured), UK sales manager at VebaBox, said: “VebaBox gives operators true flexibility.

“Whether you’re transporting fresh produce, medical samples, or catering goods, our modular system delivers the reliability of a fridge van but with far greater efficiency, adaptability and long-term ROI.

“We’re excited to show the UK market what’s possible.

“This is about giving operators choice, control and confidence in their cold chain.”

Denston will lead VebaBox’s expansion into the UK market, supported by a network of accredited fitters and service agents.
