Volkswagen to open orders for ID.3 Neo from 13th August

Volkswagen will open orders for the ID.3 Neo, a significantly updated variant of its C-segment electric hatchback, from 13th August.

All variants are eligible for the £1,500 Electric Car Grant, with prices starting from £31,580.

Compared with the ID.3, the Neo gains Volkswagen’s latest design language, more buttons on the interior, new batteries, and software upgrades.

Three battery sizes are available: a 50kWh unit with 258 miles of range, a 58kWh unit with 306 miles of range, and a 79kWh unit with 390 miles of range.

Each battery is able to be charged from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes.

The entry-level ID.3 Neo Life offers keyless start, adaptive cruise control, a reversing camera and 18-inch alloy wheels as standard.

On the Life trim, the 58kWh and 79kWh batteries can be ordered for £33,995 and £35,495 respectively.

For £37,000, the ID.3 Neo Style adds 19-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, ID.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, a heat pump, play and pause pedals, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and interior ambient lighting.
