Volkswagen TPS has doubled the size of its electric vehicle (EV) fleet throughout 2025, with one in 10 of its parts delivery vehicles now being an EV.
Across the UK’s 83 Volkswagen TPS centres, 88 EVs are in active service, including the Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo, eTransporter and Cupra Born.
More than 50 Volkswagen TPS centres now have EV charging points.
Volkswagen said the EVs will save 1,384 tonnes of CO2 over the three-year contract lifecycle, the annual equivalent of 500 small vans.
It plans to electrify more of the fleet throughout 2026, as more vehicles are due for renewal.
Catherine Baker, One aftersales director at Volkswagen Group UK, said: “The addition of the new EVs is a major boost to our strategy to electrify the TPS delivery fleet.
“Plans to accelerate our EV journey help to pave the way for our business to cut significantly its UK carbon footprint, driving the transformation of our delivery service that will benefit both the planet and our customers.”
