Connected vehicle data provider Volteras has partnered with Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car brand, to provide Volteras customers access to its Polestar Fleet Telematics service.
The partnership enables fleet operators and mobility providers to integrate vehicle-level data from Polestar EVs into their operational workflows via Volteras.
For Volteras customers, this partnership allows for access to real-time and near-real-time vehicle insights from Polestar without the need for aftermarket hardware.
Fleet data is delivered via the Polestar Fleet Telematics service to ensure OEM-grade accuracy, reliability, and full vehicle compatibility.
Vehicle data embedded into workflows aims to allow fleet customers to optimise charging strategies, reduce operational costs, improve overall fleet efficiency, protect and increase residual values, while better supporting decarbonisation goals.
Access to Polestar Fleet Telematics via Volteras is available across all Polestar models.
The solution was designed to support mixed and growing EV fleets, ensuring long-term compatibility as Polestar continues to expand its vehicle lineup.
Emma Knapp, manager of global key accounts at Polestar, said: “Our partnership with Volteras via Polestar Fleet Telematics empowers fleets to unlock the full potential of their connected Polestar vehicles.
“By integrating high-quality, vehicle-generated data into Volteras’ advanced energy and charging solutions, businesses can optimise their operations, reduce costs, and accelerate their sustainability goals.
“Together, we enable fleets to make smarter, data-driven decisions that accelerate the shift to sustainable mobility.”
Chris Heddle, head of sales and partnerships at Volteras, added: “Integrating Polestar’s Fleet Telematics service with Volteras is a significant milestone for us.
“Polestar has been a priority brand for our customers for some time, and we’re pleased to offer seamless onboarding and access to a broad range of vehicle data through our platform in the UK, EU, US and Canada.
“This partnership strengthens our fleet data ecosystem and reinforces our focus on providing mixed fleet operators with the insights they need to manage and optimise electric vehicles with confidence.”
