Volvo EVs to gain access to Tesla Supercharger network
Charging at Tesla Supercharger stations will be available through the Volvo app from Q4.
Volvo electric vehicles (EVs) will gain access to the Tesla Supercharger network in 29 European countries, including the UK.
Charging at Tesla Supercharger stations will be available through the Volvo app from Q4, providing access to more than 20,000 additional chargers across Europe.
The Volvo app already provides access to 1,200,000 charge points across Europe.
Alejandro Castro Pérez, head of energy solutions at Volvo Cars, said: “Volvo drivers already have access to over three million charging points globally through the Volvo app.
“Adding Tesla Superchargers in Europe means they now have even easier access to one of the most recognised fast charging networks.
“As we accelerate towards full electrification, our goal is to make charging simple and effortless, through a seamless ecosystem.”
